1. Information We Collect

When you create an Aurien account, we collect your name, email address, city, role, company name, and industry niches. We also collect content you create such as posts, messages, stories, deals, events, goals, and connection activity. We do not collect payment information directly — all payments are processed securely through third-party providers.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to provide and improve the Aurien platform, including matching you with relevant members based on your industry and interests, displaying your profile to other members, delivering notifications about connections and messages, tracking your points and leaderboard position, and communicating important updates about the service.

3. Information Sharing

Your profile information (name, role, city, niches) is visible to other Aurien members. Your email address is never shared with other members. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties. We may share data with service providers who help us operate the platform (such as Firebase for hosting and authentication), but only as needed to provide the service.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely on Google Firebase servers in the United States. We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (HTTPS/SSL), authenticated database access, and Firebase Authentication for account security. Only you can access your account through your email and password.

5. Your Rights

You can view, edit, or delete your profile information at any time through the app. You can delete your account by contacting us at [email protected]. Upon account deletion, we will remove your personal data within 30 days. You can request a copy of your data at any time.

6. Stories and Temporary Content

Stories are visible to other members for 24 hours after posting. After 24 hours, stories are no longer displayed but may remain in our database for a short period before permanent deletion.

7. Messages

Direct messages and group chat messages are stored securely and are only accessible to the participants of the conversation. We do not read or monitor your private messages unless required by law or to investigate reported violations of our Terms of Service.

8. Cookies and Analytics

We use Firebase Analytics to understand how members use the app and to improve the experience. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. We do not display ads in the app.

9. Children

Aurien is not intended for users under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we have collected information from a user under 18, we will delete that information immediately.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or by email. Continued use of Aurien after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

By creating an account or using Aurien, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the app. Aurien is a members-only platform for entrepreneurs, business owners, and professionals.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use Aurien. By using the app, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into these terms.

3. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account. You may not create accounts for other people without their permission or use another person's account.

4. Membership and Fees

Aurien may offer paid membership plans. By subscribing, you agree to pay the applicable fees. Membership fees are non-refundable except as required by law. We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days notice to existing members.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to: post false, misleading, or fraudulent information; harass, threaten, or intimidate other members; spam or send unsolicited messages; post illegal content or promote illegal activities; impersonate another person or entity; attempt to hack, reverse engineer, or compromise the platform; use Aurien for any purpose other than professional networking and business development.

6. Content You Post

You retain ownership of content you post on Aurien (posts, stories, messages, deals, events). By posting content, you grant Aurien a non-exclusive, worldwide license to display, distribute, and promote your content within the platform. You are responsible for the content you post and must have the right to share it.

7. Points and Rewards

Aurien awards points for various activities within the app. Points are for engagement and leaderboard ranking only. Points have no monetary value and cannot be exchanged for cash. We reserve the right to adjust point values and reset points at any time.

8. Referral Program

Members may earn points by referring new members using their referral code. Abuse of the referral system (creating fake accounts, self-referrals) will result in point reversal and possible account suspension.

9. Deals and Events

Aurien provides a platform for members to post deals and events but does not guarantee the accuracy of any listing. Aurien is not a party to any transaction between members. Members engage in deals and attend events at their own risk.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms, without prior notice. You may delete your account at any time by contacting [email protected]. Upon termination, your right to use the platform ceases immediately.

11. Disclaimers

Aurien is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted or error-free. We are not responsible for the conduct of any member on or off the platform. We do not verify the identity, credentials, or business claims of members.

12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Aurien and its owners, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.
